Why blog?

Welcome to our blog!  I actually think "blog" is a funny word.  I (Elizabeth) really wanted to blog because I am inspired by other's blogs and I do not know if they know how encouraging they are to me.  I feel that in this short time we have on earth, its our calling to fellowship and share our experiences with one another as we walk this path of faith.  I do not feel that what we have to say is anything extraordinary, but John and I hopefully can encourage you too as you encourage us in so many ways.  So our blog title "Found by Grace" is something that I have specifically been amazed by in the last few weeks.  Grace.  Its a word that we hear all of the time, but I have not stopped in a long time to think about what grace really means in my life.  Its Jesus Christ himself.  What a blessing its been to think about this.  It is by grace that He has claimed us as His. 
On a less serious note, I got home a little later today then usual from school and was extremely exhausted.  Its just been a long week with the daylight savings change and it being March.  My sweet student's helped me celebrate my birthday today (its not my bday today, but soon).  I told them that I was going to be 10 years old and they did not believe me.  It was filled with lots of cute cards, hugs, and my favorite Zoe's chocolate chip cookies.  I came home to my new Steve Tyrell CD, beautiful afternoon of sunshine after a cold and cloudy day, and John grilling our dinner.  Its also the little things that I am not always thankful for enough.
