This time of the year...

This time of the year means....
  • Holidays will start soon and we get to see all of our family often!
  • Holidays also make March get here faster....or seems to feel that way.  :-)
  • Pumpkins, pine straw, mums, and pansies will soon be a purchase for the Reading's yard.
  • My "fall" scented candle gets me excited about the coming months.  (I've gone on a bit of a fall decor purchasing frenzy in the last few days...only about 3 weeks before it can be put out though)
  • The weather is cool in the mornings and breezy and warm in the afternoons.
  • Routine is here!  School is in full swing, Bible Studies, and Tuesday nights with friends are what keep us busy and make us appreciate our time with all different ages of friends.
What Baby Reading likes these days:
I am very thankful that I am feeling so well.  I do have a little nausea here and there, and definitely crash around 8:30 at night.  I'm eating a little bit more of a variety these days compared to 4 weeks ago...all food tastes good, but it depends on the day!

  • Apple juice diluted in water with lots of ice is amazing.
  • Drinking lots and lots of water!
  • Jolly Ranchers candy hit the spot after lunch for something sweet.
  • Cinnabon cereal bars are delish as a mid-morning snack at school.
  • Lemonade diluted in water is refreshing.
  • Kellogg's Blueberry cereal with cold milk in the mornings is full of fiber and yummy
  • Sandwiches for lunch on whole wheat are light and nutritious
  • Gummy bears hit the spot!
  • Apples are the tastiest fruit.
  • Pineapple is the best juicy and cold.
  • Salads with lots of vegetables always hit the spot.
  • Limiting chocolate and caffeine a good bit, but look forward to a Chocolate Nirvana Godiva Chocolate Cake for my birthday after delivery!  :-)  6 months to go!!
  • French fries and anything greasy tastes really good, but only once a week
  • Homemade milkshakes are great for nausea
  • Not particually wanting anything salty likes crackers or vegetables alone
  • Soup is filling
