Spring is Here! Bye, Bye Winter Clothes!

Today, for the first time it felt like Spring is here and is here to stay...let's hope.  It was a sunny and warm day and I enjoyed the little bit that I could.  I spent the day indoors at home fighting a sinus infection, but plan to be back at school tomorrow.
When I actually got up today and did some typical chores around the house, I noticed that John had put a stack of papers on the guest bed.  So...I do what I always do and move them on top of his file cabinet in the closet which is like 3 feet away.  But-a thought crossed my mind....I could organize and file all 10 inches of things that are "stacked" in order to entertain myself today.  I don't like to be home when everyone else is at work.  I can only watch so much TV and lay around with Kleenexs.  I did get a lot done by filing and organzing all kinds of different important documents.  John had a system, but his "system" had turned into a stack and so it entertained me for 3 hours!  Now...we have a very nice and labeled file cabinet.  It was a lot of fun reading old emails and cards to each other from when we were dating.  I got so tickled at things like "I enjoy being with you John and hope to see you soon!"  It was hysterical.  I also learned that I have said something wrong all of my life...I thought "Notary Public" was always "Notor Republic"....noone told me that!!  It was what I thought I always heard...John got tickled at that and definitely made fun of me.  So, needless to say it was a very productive day.  I had good music to listen to while I worked and dinner smelled good in the oven.
This past weekend, John and I went to the USC baseball game on Saturday and watched them beat UK in an extra inning.  We invited his sister and her husband to join us.  Mary and I got a lot of talking in and the guys enjoyed talking and watching the game.  It is always a lot of fun to go to those, even though I am still a Clemson fan at heart.  It is a very nice stadium and I had forgotten how much I do like watching baseball.  I think I like it because its slower...its not intense...but, I love a close game at the end and that is just what we saw!
I think that is all I have to say tonight.  Its been a good Monday and glad to be getting over this sickness so that I can enjoy my job tomorrow.
I hope that everyone who reads this is doing well.  If you have a blog, let us know so that we can read yours.  :-)
