The Month of May...

The month of May is a very busy month for most of us.  Juggling all of the day to day events is sometimes tricky.  It's been refreshing for me to hear other friends say the same thing because it makes me feel normal.  I have realized that I am not the only one (type A) who is checking off each thing every day at home and at school.   Some days have passed and I have forgotten to eat hardly anything or drink anything other than Coke!  That is scary.  Coke is like my gasoline lately.  So, if you are like me then I think you are normal because I have realized that I am.  
The month of May is also a lot of fun and sad at the same time:
Fun:  It really feels like Spring is here, but Summer is only 6 1/2 days away from today.  
Sad:  The school year has gone so very fast and I am in denial of the "end".  It's been another special year and hard to let the sweet, little ones go.     
Fun:  My husband, Dad, cousin, and brother-in-law all have birthdays in May which is exciting.  More icing for me!  :-)   

John will be 30 next Wednesday!!  We had our usual get together with friends last night and I surprised him with a "birthday party" too.  We are very thankful for great friends and their precious children who we can enjoy.  We literally laugh until its time to go to bed....John and I could not stop laughing last night thinking about all of the cute and funny things.  John's parents, sister, and brother-in-law joined us and gave him his present a little early.  John is famous for his high quality yard tools....and so now there is an addition!  He is so excited that I actually heard this new "trimmer" attachment being used after dinner tonight....so funny.  

John, I love it that you are a typical man who loves his new toys!
